Pigeon Shooting
The clay shoot is set as an English sporting
layout with clays launched in a variety of presentations simulating
the flight of various different birds such as driven grouse,
settling pigeon, springing teal, high pheasant etc.. We use
12 and 20 bore over and under shotguns and each gun can be
adapted to fit each participant. Our professional shooting
instructors will give each guest in-depth tuition to ensure
they can achieve a high level of satisfaction from this exciting
and fulfilling sport. Top

Simulated
Clay Pigeon Shooting (Laser Clays)
Very realistic
simulated clay shooting using 5 standard over and under shotguns
which have been deactivated and fitted with high tech electronics.
The guns fire pulses (2 per loading) of infra red light at reflective
clays (launched from a normal clay trap) and electronics in each
gun transmits hits (and misses!) to a large scoreboard. The system
is set up in a similar manner to a “live” shoot with
various bird presentations.
Fully staffed
by a professional shooting instructor and an experienced trapper
participants will receive tuition in gun handling and safety whilst
learning the very satisfying and competitive sport of clay shooting.
The system has the advantage that it does not need a designated
shooting ground and can be carried out in complete safety on the
lawns at most venues. Top

Aerial Target
Shooting:
This event is a modified clay shoot with guests
shooting high speed radio controlled aircraft instead of clays!
(although we start instruction on clays). This unlikely scenario
is a unique concept and, quite frankly, amazing. The radio
controlled target aircraft (we bring up to 15) are designed
to be shot down but usually fly with various bits missing
for a while and this adds to the excitement and competitive
atmosphere.
Pyrotechnic flash flares are fitted to the
aircraft to indicate hits plus electronically operated smoke
canisters can be fitted to provide the classic trail when
the aircraft is shot down. The aerial targets are flown by
the ex British flying model champion who can adjust the flight
path and presentation of the aircraft to suit the ability
of each shooter.
Aerial
Target Laser Option:
As some
venues cannot host conventional clay shooting (live), we have
radio controlled helicopters which have infra red retro reflective
targets fitted allowing us to use them with our Laser Clay
system. This is a spectacular event with two to five shooting
teams competing to register hits on the opposing teams aircraft.

Target Archery
We use top quality competition standard recurve
bows which, although looking similar to long bows, are in
fact radically different being fitted with sights.
We carry a large selection of bows with various
draw weights (power) to ensure our professional instructor
can exactly match a bow to each participant.
Shooting is usually started at 15 metres and
increased as clients become more proficient. We will also
provide cross bows if required. After full instruction and
practice we hold a competition. Top

Falconry
This ancient
and noble sport is both thrilling and fascinating. Our senior
falconers each have more than 25 years experience of handling
and flying these majestic birds. Their love of falconry and
dedication to conserving wildlife have given them an unrivalled
depth of knowledge, and they are always happy to answer questions
and discuss matters involving the countryside and its wildlife.
Static
display & hands on flying
A selection
of birds will be on display including hawks, falcons, barn
owls, eagle owls, red tails, buzzards, kestrels and other
birds of prey. The falconer will explain the training and
methods of hunting with various breeds. Guests will be provided
with all the necessary equipment (gauntlets, jessies etc.)
and trained hawks. They will be taken through various areas
available at the venue to fly the birds and experience the
thrill of controlling these magnificent creatures.
Flying
display
Our falconer
will give a brief talk on the history of falconry and explain
the techniques involved in displaying falcons in an aerial
display. The party will see the bird circling above, checking
out the thermals and mapping its approach before diving at
speeds reaching over 100 mph towards the lure. Guests will
be involved in every stage, with volunteers asked to help
with the display and the falcon being flown close enough to
touch. A truly magnificent and unforgettable experience. Top

Gun
& Working Dog Trials
This is seriously
good fun and features a selection of traditional working dogs such
as pointers, retrievers, terriers, spaniels etc.. Guests will be
taught how to control the dogs through various agility tests reflecting
each breeds particular skills. These include obstacle courses, herding,
calls and whistle signals. An experienced dog handler will explain
the history behind the breed and instruct guests on all aspects
of dog handling.
In addition,
guests will experience a series of hilarious obstacle course races
(with betting?) using our very short sighted ferrets! Top

Apache
2 Seater Off Road Racers:
These very fast
twin seater off road racers have a Honda VFR 750cc, V4 engine delivering
110bhp through a 6 speed sequential gearbox. Unlike Pilot Buggies,
they have conventional steering and standard foot controls. A roll
cage and four point harness are also incorporated.
Enjoy outrageous
over-steer and 360 degree spins in these awesome vehicles around
a large coned course. An experienced instructor travels in the passenger
seat to give an insight into the techniques required to get the
best out of these machines on a fast and challenging circuit. Top

Pilot
Buggies:
These
are one of the most popular off road all terrain vehicles
and are exciting to drive. These single seater racers, fitted
with balloon tyres are capable of 70 mph. All controls are
hand operated on the aircraft style (hence the name) steering
wheel and a full roll cage and safety harnesses are additional
safety features. We design a large challenging circuit using
cones and flag markers plus a "pits" area. The guests
compete against the clock and not each other.
A full
briefing and introduction to the machine is given by our experienced
instructors before a practice session and competition is carried
out. If time permits, a fun team relay will be run. Top

"Sheep"
Dog Trails
This is seriously
good fun and mimics the very popular sport of sheep dog trials where
trained dogs herd sheep around an obstacle course of gates, pens,
etc. the only difference is that we use Geese!
A skilled shepherd
will teach participants simple whistle commands to allow them to
control the trained dogs in this hilarious and unique event. This
activity is very suitable for a team challenge scenario. Top

Classic
Team Challenge
Eventive has
developed a series of Army Officer training style team building
command tasks for corporate activity days. Team building takes many
guises and in our experience, participants still want to have fun
although the overriding theme is to get them working together and
appreciating each others strengths and development needs.
Working with
instructors from Sandhurst Military Academy we believe that we have
devised modifications to the tasks to make them much less physical
and a more fun brain teasing activity.
The tasks have
been specifically designed to take the same time and hence are ideal
for structured days. Ideal team size is 6 – 8 but can handle
up to 10 per activity, with the ideal timing being 25 minutes per
task.
Each task will
be staffed by an experienced instructor who will assess their performance
and mark them for comparison with other teams if required. An experienced
co-ordinator will give a light hearted, but to the point, de-brief
immediately after the event. Should your client require a more in-depth
assessment we will be pleased to discuss their requirements.

Indoor
Clay Pigeon Shooting:
Programmable
Active Random Indoor Shooting System (PARISS). The popularity of
simulated clay pigeon shooting, as provided by the Laser Clay system,
has been expanded to give an indoor activity which provides a very
competitive shooting discipline. The five gun MK2 Laser Clay system
is connected to the PARISS computer which presents five simulated
targets. The targets are small boxes which display a clay sized
ring of lights and contain a bright xenon flash light. They are
mounted on tripods, at varying heights and distances, to give a
stimulating layout. The computer can set various different shooting
options to keep the guests entertained.

Trials
Cars (Hill Climb specials):
These
amazing vehicles, made popular on TV in the 60's, are designed to
climb the steepest hills. Although the cars are very powerful, this
is a low speed activity requiring technique, skill and judgement.
The course consists of a series of "gates", each designated by 2
poles, through which clients have to negotiate on a very steep slope.
An experienced instructor travels on the vehicle to give advice
and tuition during the drive.

Musket
and Antique Firearms Shooting:
This
is an interesting departure from conventional clay shooting with
a history lesson thrown in. A varied selection of antique firearms
will be demonstrated and guests invited to fire the black powder
muskets and flintlocks at various "fun" targets including balloons,
clays etc.. For an additional cost we can provide another instructor,
dressed in American war of indepenance costume, who will get guests
involved in firing a 4.5 inch bore cannon. This has been modified
to fire large rubber balls at a mock British castle. This is always
very popular, especially with American clients, as we all know the
outcome of the war!

Yacht
Racing Day:
The
perfect introduction to sailing an offshore yacht, either for your
clients or staff. A typical day begins with coffee or breakfast
at the marina in Hamble. This is followed by a safety briefing and
an introduction to the basics of sailing by the skipper aboard one
of our sigma 38s. These popular cruising yachts are ideal for up
to eight guests and are well looked after vessel's, not the usual
ex fleet "hacks" on offer by other companies.
After
the initial briefing and familiarisation with the boat, groups are
soon heading out to sea under the supervision of the skipper and
assistant crew member. Once under way everyone is given the opportunity
to become an integral part of the sailing team by working together
to keep the boat on course, practising sailing techniques and gaining
confidence.
At
the end of a mornings sailing, boats are either anchored or moored
together for lunch on board or, if preferred, ashore at a yacht
club in Cowes or Yarmouth. After lunch everyone sets off again for
an afternoon consisting of a series of short races. Tasks are continually
rotated to give everyone a chance to experience every aspect of
handling an ocean going yacht. Taking the helm, trimming the sails,
hoisting the spinnaker, even a little navigation!... There's always
a job for someone.
The
day ends with prize giving back at the yacht club, a relaxing drink
at the bar and an exchange of stories about the days achievements.

Deux
Cheveaux (2 CV) Build & Race:
As
the name suggests, the team's objective is to build a 2 CV utilising
all the skills and initiative the team can muster. Once achieved,
as many team members as possible must race in turn through a coned
course in the remaining time with hilarious consequences. The team
must then dismantle the vehicle and place all parts in order, ready
for the next team.

Designed
for the outgoing, a Rib Treasure Hunt provides thrilling and
competitive entertainment. The various Rib Treasure Hunt packages
include both land and sea based clues and challenges, involving
stops in several different ports.
The

Polaroid cameras, and objectives to complete. The Treasure
Hunt is both stretching and entertaining; every team member
will be able to take the lead in tasks ranging from the logical
to the outrageously creative.
